The fabrication of
the steel caisson was commenced in Octover 1996 and the steel
caisson was set on the site in May & June, 1997. After that,
excavation and sinking was started. All of foundation works
including the erection of anchor frames and base plates were
finished in August 1998. The construction required about 22
months.
