Wire Splice Test |
|
| The wires
were packed as coils weighing about 1 tonf and brought
to the site. The wires were then spliced at the
shop and the site using couplers. To test the soundness
of the wire splice, the strength of the splice was
tested periodically: one splice out of 100 splices.
