Roller Shoe Test |
|
The truss
bridge of the Yongjong Bridge has the largest roller
shoe (capacity: 6000tonf) in Korea. In it, the larger
diameter rollers (dia. = 220mm) are placed. The
rollers are made of infrequently used material so
that the quality and endurance of the roller were
tested.
The material testing and friction coefficient test
were conducted using small specimen. The friction
coefficient and the allowable movement were determined
using the actual roller shoe. |
