Static Air Pressure Test
The wind tunnel tests were conducted to evaluate aerodynamic stability of the bridge. The section models, tower models, and full bridge models were used. The test performed on the section models was to capture the aerodynamic influence of the shape on the bridge. To measure wind resistance capacity of the tower, the tests were conducted on two tower models: one simulated free-standing tower during the erection and the other one simulated the tower at the complete state. The full bridge models were used to evaluate the overall aerodynamic stability of the bridge.
