The Incheon International Airport
Expressway with the total length of 40.2km was designed to provide
the highway connecting Seoul Metropolitan area and the new international
airport built to service Korea and East Asia.
The Expressway is Korea's first private capital inducement project following establishment of the new Private Capital Inducement Act. New Seoul Int'l Airport Freeway Co. was established to construct and operate the Expressway for 30 years. The whole project was supervised by Ministry of Construction and Transportation(MoCT) and Korea Highway Corporation(KHC). |
